The recent film awards showcased a remarkable collection of short films remarkable for their originality, depth, and powerful storytelling.

The Grand Prix was awarded to “KOKI, CIAO!” by Quenton Miller, a film that captivated the jury through a unique metaphorical approach blending humor, tragedy, and justice. Its originality in form and universal relevance in content earned it the top honor.

Special Mention І was given to “ALI” by Adnan Al Rajeev, a visually stunning and deeply moving tale about the difficult journey to self-acceptance and discovering one’s unique voice. Set in a coastal town where social norms constrain expression, the film uses magical realism to highlight the pain and beauty intertwined in embracing one’s true self.

This Spanish film authentically explores adolescent estrangement through the story of Eric, a teenager in a juvenile center struggling to reconnect with his mother.
